Welcome, stepmoms of Ontario! Come to think of it...Welcome to stepmoms everywhere!

I just wanted to create something which hopefully will succeed in getting stepmom's together (albeit electronically) for support, encouragement and friendship. I haven't been able to find any kind of informal support for stepmoms, so I thought I would get the ball rolling...
 
I have been a stepmom for eight years.  My stepsons are now 13 and 16.  I am also mom to a 5 year old boy.  It hasn't been an easy road, but it has been a rewarding one.  My only regret is that I have had no-one to go to for advice or just to chat - who knows what mistakes I could have avoided!

Becoming a Member

This organisation is informal. Anyone who is a stepmom is automatically a member of a special fellowship!  I would like to create an e-mail list for stepmoms, so that we can share our stories (battles lost and triumphs over adversity!), ask others for advice, or just cry on an e-shoulder!
